EXERCISE AMOGH FURY
Why in News :
- The Indian Army’s Sapta Shakti Command conducted a major Integrated Firepower Exercise named ‘Amogh Fury’ at the Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan’s Thar Desert on September 20, 2025.
- The exercise tested operational readiness and integration of modern warfare technologies in a multi-domain combat environment.
OBJECTIVES
- To test and validate:
- Combat power
- Operational coordination
- Readiness for real-time multi-domain warfare
- Enhance interoperability among combat arms, support arms, and services during joint operations
